About the CFR Chemicals Midget AAA Bisons

 

In 1992, The Bisons left Airdrie and have been playing out of the town of Strathmore. In the Spring of

2017 , it was decided that the team would relocate to Airdrie and play out of the Ron Ebbesen Arena.

The Bisons have a deep rooted history in Strathmore and Bison's Alumni have many memories that

they hold dear.

We aim to respect that history and those memories as we begin down the path of creating a ground

breaking program and developing our own legacy which our players, parents and stakeholders can

be proud of.

 

The Program at a Glance

 

The Bisons have partnered with Global Sport Academy and Rocky View Schools to bring a new level

of development, commitment and exposure to the Alberta Midget Hockey League.

 

All Bisons Players Will....

 

Attend High School in Airdrie (preferably) 

Be a part of the Global Sport Academy (See Global Link on home page)

Practice during weekday mid mornings or afternoons (3x/week)

Have professional Coaches, Associate Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Goaltender Coaches and

Trainers

Have access to world class health care practitioners

Gain exposure through our specialized programs and through our unprecedented commitment to

our players and their future goals.
